Winter Wonderland
Previously, the arena on UCF's campus hosted an event called Light Up UCF, where students and the community could go to watch a light show, ride carnival rides, and go ice skating. This event had been canceled for 2020 and was not coming back in 2021. I was asked to create this set of graphics with a short turnaround when CAB took the lead on putting together this new event, Winter Wonderland. I adapted a pre-existing illustration of Knightro, our mascot, for this set of graphics to ensure consistency from our office and speed up the timeline of delivery.
Summer B Calendars
Many first-time college students at UCF start taking classes during Summer B. Because of this, the Office of Student Involvement (OSI) made a push to make sure students were aware of all the events they could attend during their first semester as they get accustomed to college life. There a six weeks in the Summer B semester, so I created three designs that could each be used twice to cover the semester. Each week, posters were distributed to residence halls and A-frames were set up around campus, specifically in areas with high concentrations of first-time students.
UCF Mobile App
TVs were used around campus to direct students to the UCF mobile app to see more details about upcoming events. The client requested that the graphic included a lot of summer elements and a simple design for quick comprehension. Additionally, these assets were used within the app to keep consistency throughout the experience of the audience.
Pegasus Palooza Banners
To make Pegasus Palooza more exciting for the students at UCF, the Office of Student Involvement had vertical banners made to be placed on light posts and in front of commonly visited buildings on campus. These banners were meant to be used for multiple years, so general UCF branding was followed to ensure they would not clash with the branding of Pegasus Palooza in future years.
