During my time at FSU, the College of Education combined with the College of Health and Human Sciences and was eventually dedicated to an alumna, Anne Spencer Daves. The newly-named Anne Spencer Daves College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences — or Anne's College for short — had a mission to develop a consistent identity for the college and maintain connections with alums of the two former colleges.
Dedication Dinner
To celebrate the college's dedication, we hosted a dinner with leadership from the university and the college, as well as many friends of Anne. I designed digital and mailed invites, signage, programs, menus, place cards, table numbers, and other items included as parting gifts for attendees, like t-shirts, pennants, and stickers.
Homecoming Tailgate
The day after the Dedication Dinner, the college welcomed over 300 alumni and friends to the Homecoming Tailgate. Attendees enjoyed complimentary food and drinks right outside Doak Campbell Stadium. Upon arrival, guests received a wristband, credential, lanyard, and drink koozie. For this project, I produced invite and marketing assets, signage, and credentials. It was important that many assets could be reused, so the main event graphic didn't include a year.
ElevatED Torch Awards
The ElevatED Torch Awards celebrate educators and leaders who shape the future of education, specifically those who partner with Anne's College to prepare future teachers for the classroom. For this project, I put together invite graphics, program table tents, name tags, and a presentation shown during the event.
Distinguished Alumni Awards
Each year, Anne's College honors its alumni at the Distinguished Alumni Awards. The college's most prestigious honor, the Lifetime Achievement Award, is given at this event in addition to other awards. This event also serves as a development opportunity, bringing together the college's high-achieving alumni and most generous donors. For this event, I put together invite graphics, programs, dinner menus, table numbers, place cards, and name tags.
